EXPLANATION.

F(x) = x³ - x + 1 is a multiple of g(x) = 2 - 3x.

Equate g(x) = 0.

→ g(x) = 2 - 3x = 0.

→ 2 = 3x.

→ x = ⅔ .

Put the value of x = ⅔ in equation of f(x).

→ (⅔)³ - (⅔) + 1.

→ ( 8/27) - 2/3 + 1.

→ 8/27 - 2/3 + 1.

→ 8 - 18 + 27 / 27.

→ 35 - 18/27.

→ 17/27

It is not equal to ≠ 0.

f(x) is not a multiple of g(x).
