Answer:

g ( x ) is not a factor of p ( x ) .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

\large \text{$p(x)=7x^3+3x-9 \ and \ g(x) = 7x+5x$}

We have to find g ( x ) is factor of p ( x ) or not.

If remainder comes zero on putting g ( x ) in p ( x ) then it will be factor.

Zeroes of g ( x ) = 7 x + 5 x = 0

12 x = 0

x = 0

Now put x = 0 i n p ( x )  we get

\large \text{$p(x)=7x^3+3x-9$}\\\\\\\large \text{$p(0)=7(0)^3+3(0)-9$}\\\\\\\large \text{$p(0)=0+0-9$}\\\\\\\large \text{$p(0)=-9$}

Since remainder is not zero.

So g ( x ) is not a factor of p ( x ) .

Thus we get answer.
