= x^2-x-2
R.H.S side
(x-1)(x+3) = x^2-x-3x-3
= x^2-4x-3
L.H.S = R.H.S
x^2 - x-2 = x^2-4x-3
-x-2 = -4x-3
It is a linear polynomial. It is not a
quadratic equation.
