Check whether the first polynomial is the factor of second polynomial

P(x)= x3 – 3x2 – x + 3 and g(x) = x + 1​

Given :-

$p(x) = {x}^{3} - 3 {x}^{2} - x + 3 \\ g(x) = x + 1$

R.T.P :-

To find whether it is a factor or not....

Solution :-

divide p(x) and g (x) , we get,

Remainder = 0

So, x + 1 is a factor of

${x}^{3} - 3 {x}^{2} - x + 3$
