check whether the following are quadratic equations or not
 \sqrt{3}  {x}^{2}   - 2x +  \frac{1}{2}  =0

2 \sqrt{3} \: \:  {x}^{2}  \:  - 4x \:  + 1 \:  = 0

Hence this is a Quadratic Equation as its degree is 2..
