Solution :

Quadratic Equation will be in the form ax² + bx + c = 0

To check : Whether ( x - 3 ) ( x + 1 ) = x ( x + 4 ) is in the form ax² + bx + c = 0

Checking :-

( x - 3 ) ( x + 1 ) = x ( x + 4 )

x² + x - 3x + 3 = x² + 4x

-2x = 4x

-6x = 0 ≠ ax² + bx + c = 0

( x - 3 ) ( x + 1 ) = x ( x + 4 ) is not in the form of ax² + bx + c = 0

Therefore, ( x - 3 ) ( x + 1 ) = x ( x + 4 ) is not a Quadratic Equation.
