Let's start expanding from LHS
(x² + 1) ( x + 2)
= x²(x + 2) + 1(x + 2)
= x³ + 2x² + x + 2
Now we expand RHS
(x + 3)²
= x² + 9 + 6x
Here x³ + 2x² + x + 2 ≠ x² + 9 + 6x
So LHS ≠ RHS
Hence we deduce that (x² + 1) ( x + 2) ≠ (x + 3)²
