Step-by-step explanation:

2/3,1/-2is not equal

so it is consistent

2x+y-5=0

2x=5-y

x=5-y/2. take eqation first

putting value of x in second eqation

3(5-y/2)-2y-4=0

15-3y/2-2y -4=0

15-3y-4y-8/2=0

7-7y=0

y=7/7

y=1

putting the value of y in first

x=5-1/2

x=4/2

x=2

so, x=2,y=1
