yes they are colsistent

2x+y-5=0

2x+y=5

y=5-2x (1)

2x=5-y (2)

Answer:

Both graphs intersect at x = 2  , y = 1

pair of equations is consistent

Step-by-step explanation:

x 2x+y-5=0 3x-2y-4=0

-4 13              -8

-3 11               -6.5

-2 9              -5

-1 7              -3.5

0 5              -2

1 3              -0.5

2 1               1

3 -1               2.5

4 -3               4

Both graphs intersect at x = 2  , y = 1

hence one solution exist

hence the pair of equations is consistent  and independent
