Answer:

The three given points are not collinear

Step-by-step explanation:

let (x₁,y₁),(x₂,y₂)&(x₃,y₃) be 3 points

then,

x₁ (y₂  - y₃) + x₂ (y₃ - y₁) + x₃ (y₁ - y₂) = 0

is the required condition of collinearity of three points

Here, (x₁,y₁) is (-1,2)

         (x₂,y₂) is (3,4)

and    (x₃,y₃) is (5,6)

so, consider,

x₁ (y₂  - y₃) + x₂ (y₃ - y₁) + x₃ (y₁ - y₂)

= (-1) (4-6) + 3(6-2) + 5(2-4)

= (6-4) + 3(4) + 5(-2)

= 2+12-10

= 14-10

= 4

≠ 0

=> the three given points are not collinear
