Heya !!!

Here is Your Answer.

Question : Check whether the quotient that you get after dividing the reciprocal of the sum of -4/15 +2/5, by the sum is the multiplicative identity.

Solution :

Sum  \: of \:   \frac{ - 4}{15}  +   \frac{2}{5}  \\  =  \frac{ - 4}{15}  +  \frac{6}{15}  =  \frac{2}{15}
And Its Reciprocal = 15/2.

Now, quotient after dividing the reciprocal of the sum of -4/15 +2/5, by the sum
= (Reciprocal of Sum of -4/15 + 2/5) ÷ (-4/15 + 2/5)
 =  \frac{15}{2}   \div  \frac{2}{15}  \\  =  \frac{15}{2}    \times  \frac{15}{2}  =  \frac{225}{4}

For Being Multiplicative Identity, Product Must be equal to one, But it is not.

So, They are not multiplicative identity.
