Hey mate , your answer:
a)2x+3 =5
Substituting x=1
2(1)+3
2+3
=5
thus x=1 satisfies equation 2x+3=5

b)3x-4=2
Substituting x=2
3(2)-4
6-4
=2
thus x=2 satisfies the equation 3x-4=2

c)x+5=0
Substituting x=-5
-5+5
=0
thus x=(-5 ) satisfies the equation x+5=0

d) has the same solution as c).

hope it helps.....
