Answer:

The number is +3x²+3x+2

If (x+1) is a factor of this number then if we put the value {(x+1)=0,x=-1} -1 in the place of x in the polynomial

if the value becomes 0 then we can say that (x+1)is a factor of the polynomial.

+3x²+3x+2

-1³+3(-1)²+3(-1)+2. {putting the value of x =-1}

-1+3-3+2

2-1

1

From this we can say that (x+1)is Not a factor of the polynomial

Hope this helps you friend.
