then,

2x+√2x-4=0

= >2×(-√2) +√2 -4 =0

=>-2√2+√2-4=0

= >-√2 -4=0

therefore, -√2 is not the root of the given equation .

again if x= -2√2 , then

2x+√2x-4 =0

=> 2× -2√2 + √2×(-2√2)-4=0

=> -4√2 -4-4=0

=> -4√2-8=0

therefore -2√2 is also not the root of the given equation.
