Check whether (x - 2) is a factor of x3 - 2x2 - 5x+4​

P(2)=2^3-2(2)^2-5(2)+4

=8-8-10+6=(-4)

let x-2 =0

x = 2

put the value of x in polynomial

x³-2x²-5x+4

(2)³-2×(2)²-5×2+4

8-8-10+4

-18+12 = -4

so x-2 is not factor of the given polynomial
