let us substitute -1 in all the places of x
-1-(1)-(2+√2)-1+√2
-2+2+√2+√2=2√2 there fore x+1 is not a solution hope it held bro

No x + 1 is not a factor of given polynomial
You can check by putting the value of x = -1
p (-1) = (-1)³- (-1)² - (2 + √2)(-1) + √2 which is not equal to zero...
