Put y = 1 in above equation, we get

1.2(3-4)-0.3(2- 6)=0

1.2(-1)-0.3(-4) = 0

-1.2+1.2 = 0

0 = 0

Hence y=1 satisfies the equation (1). Hence y=1 is the solution of (1).
