Here's your answer

Equation : 2x-5y=10

(1) x=0 and y=2

= 2(0)-5(2)=10

= 0-10=10 ;So Its not the Solution

(2) x=0, y=(-2)

= 2(0)-5(-2)=10

=10=10. ; Hence its the solution

(3) x=5 and y =0

= 2(5)-5(0)=10

10=10....Hence its also a solution..

(4) 2(2√3)-5(-√3)=10

=4√3+5√3=10

=9√3= 10.....Not a solution

(5 )x=1/2 and y=2

=1-10=10

9=10....Not a solution

Hope it helps!!

Answer:

Option 2 and 3.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Equation 2x-5y=10

To find : Check which of the following is solution of the equation ?

Solution :

Substitute the values given in the equation if it equate to zero then it satisfy the condition.

Equation 2x-5y=10

1) (0,2)

2(0)-5(2)=10

-10\neq 10

Not satisfying.

2) (0,-2)

2(0)-5(-2)=10

10=10

Satisfying.

3) (5,0)

2(5)-5(0)=10

10=10

Satisfying.

4) (2\sqrt3,-\sqrt3)

2(2\sqrt3)-5(-\sqrt3)=10

4\sqrt3+5\sqrt3=10

9\sqrt3\neq 10

Not satisfying.

5) (\frac{1}{2},2)

2(\frac{1}{2})-5(2)=10

1-10=10

-9\neq 10

Not satisfying.

Therefore, option 2 and 3 are correct.
