hey there !
x-2=0
=> x= 2
p(2)= (2)³-3(2)²+2(2)-1
= 8-12+4-1
= 12-12-1
= -1
no, x-2 is not a factor of p(x) x³-3x²+2x-1
hope it helps

Hello here,
Answer -----
Sol.
Here , P(x) is x³-3x²+2x-1 and g(x) is x-2
The zero of x-2 is 2
by remainder theorem,
when , x³-3x²+2x-1 is divided by x-2,
=> P(x) = x³-3x²+2x-1
=>P(2) = 2³-3(2)²+2(2)-1
=> 8 -12+4-1
=> -1
so, g(x) is not a factor of given polynomial P(x).
Hope it's helps you.
