Cheetah the fastest of all land animals over a short distance accelerates from rest to 26 metres square per second assuming that the acceleration is constant find the average speed .

Average speed = Distance covered /Time taken

S= ut +1/2 at^2

Distance = 0*1+1/2*26*1^2

S = 13

Average speed = 13/1 = 13metre/ second
