The difference between three states of matters are as follows:
1)The particles of solid are closely packed the particles of liquid are loosely packed with each other and the particles of gas is so far from each other
2)the solids have a definite volume and fixed shape the liquids can take the shape of a container or a beaker and in gas can take shape of any thing because it is so away from each other
