I am writing this letter to you to draw your kind attention and to indicate about the harmful effects of junk food on the people. It affecting very badly on the health of the citizens reduces their life span and thus must be avoided phenomenally. Children and young people like to eat Junk food regularly without knowing its ill effects. Junk food is cheap, tasty and easily available, due to the poor quality of the substances it uses. The word 'junk' itself indicates the poor quality of food they are. Junk food has less nutritious value. It cannot be considered as a daily meal. Daily meals are prepared in a way that they have all the nutrients keep that is needed for our body. Junk food has only fats and cholesterol which is a great enemy of the human body.Junk foods if consumed, it does not provide us energy and thus, more food is required to maintain the energy balanced. This leads to an increase in body weight and heart ailments. Pizzas, burgers and French fries! They might be tasty but may lead to heart disorders, blood sugar, less activeness, dull reflexes, and many more.I, therefore, request you to carry out an inspection to all junk food outlet and examine the qualities of the foods they are serving. In the case of unhealthy food is found, you may punish him to stop selling junk foods.
