The Cisternae closed by ER (endoplasmic reticulum) is convex shape and is known to be cis face.

The Cisternae at opposite end of the stack is concave shape is known to be trans face.

Golgi complex contains phospholipids and variety of enzymes like oxireductase, phosphatase.

It also contain carbohydrates such as galactose, glucose and fructose.
