✔ Honey is a sweet and thick viscous fluid like food substance prepared by bees and other relative insects. Bees produce honey from the sugary secretions of plants, nectar of flowers or from secretions of other insects.
⭐ Honey contains organic acids such as acetic, butanoic, formic, citric, succinic, lactic, malic, pyroglutamic and gluconic acids, and a number of aromatic acids.
⭐The main acid present is gluconic acid, formed in the breakdown of glucose by glucose oxidase.
