Answer:

Reversible reaction:

Reactants react to give products. Products react to give back same reactants.

This condition is said to be Equilibrium

In this condition the concentration of reactants will be equal to that of the concentration of the products.

At Equilibrium the reaction is stable.

The reaction proceeds in both directions.

Simultaneously products and reactants are formed

Simple example is hot water in a closed vessel.

If you see, in the hot water the water water evaporates and the water vapour condenses and comes again as water. This is a typical example for reversible reaction.

\boxed{\sf N_2+3H_2 \implies 2NH_3}

Irreversible reaction:

Reactants react to give products. Products do not give back reactants.

They are irreversible in nature. The products do not give rise to reactants.

They occur only in one direction.

\boxed{\sf CaCO_3 \implies CaO+CO_2}
