hey mate! here is your ans......

if CO2 is passed in excess then milkiness disappears due to the formation of CA(HCO3)2 which is soluble in water .

here is the equation

Ca(OH)2+CO2------->CaCO3+H2O

on passing excess CO2

CaCO3+H2O+CO2----->Ca(HCO3)2
