COLLISION THEORY :

According to collision theory of chemical reactions ,

Collision Frequency :

R =  \mathsf{Z_{AB} e^{-E_{a} /RT}}

Here \mathsf{Z_{AB}} is the collision frequency of reaction.

And \mathsf{e^{-E_{a} /RT}} is the fraction of molecules with energies equal to or greater than \mathsf{E_a} (Activation Energy).

Activation Energy :

k =  \mathsf{A e^{-E_{a} /RT}}

On comparing both equations,

Z = A

That means, Collision frequency ( Z ) can be related to A (Arrhenius factor /Frequency Factor / Pre - exponential factor) .

Orientation :

R =  \mathsf{PZ_{AB} e^{-E_{a} /RT}}

Here, P is Orientation factor or Steric factor or Probability factor.

From all the three equations,

We can relate that :

Arrhenius Parameter depends on -

1 ). Steric Factor and

1 ). Steric Factor and 2 ). Collision Frequency.

ANSWER :

3 ). Both ( 1 ) & ( 2 ).
