 <strong>Answer </strong>

➡ Bases react with some metals to form hydrogen gas

✏ Example : 2NaOH + Zn = Na2ZnO2 + H2

All the metals donot react with bases to form salts and hydrogen gas.

➡ Bases react with acid to form salt and water.

✏Example :2NaOH +H2SO4 = Na2SO4 + 2H2O

➡ Bases react with non metals oxides to form salt and water.

✏Example : Ca(OH)2 + CO2 = CaCO3 + H2O
