  • Bauxite contains Silica oxide (SiO2), Ferric oxide (FeO2) and Titanium (TiO2).
  • To obtain Aluminium from Bauxite either of the two methods are used i.e. Bayer's process and Hall's method.
  • During these two methods bauxite is heated with caustic soda (NaOH) and sodium carbonate (NaCO3) respectively.
