reaction should be=>

Cuo+ H2= Cu + H20 .

1) here the oxidized substance is =>H20 .

as the oxygen is added to hydrogen.

2) hear the reduced substance is=>Cu

at the oxygen removed from copper oxide.

3) oxidizing agent is copper oxide. ( Cuo).

as the copper is reduced from copper oxide so copper oxide is reducing agent.
