Answer:

Sodium chloride on reaction with silver nitrate gives white precipitates of silver chloride whereas sodium nitrate does not gives white precipitate with silver nitrate.

NaCl+AgNO

3⟶AgCl(s)+NaNO 3(aq)

2)When a glass rod dipped in the ammonia solution is brought near the mouth of the test tube containing HCl gas, dense white fumes are observed which are not in the case of hydrogen sulphide gas.

NH 3+HCl⟶NH 4CI (dense white fumes)

3)Zinc nitrate (or sulphate) Calcium nitrate

When Sodium hydroxide solution is added a white precipitate is formed which is soluble in excess of sodium hydroxide. When Sodium hydroxide solution is added a white precipitate is formed which is insoluble in excess of Sodium hydroxide.
