Lucas Reagent test.
Propan-1-ol is a primary alcohol, it will show turbidity on mixing with Lucas Reagent (mixture of hydrochloric acid and zinc chlorate) only on moderate heating.
Propan-2-ol is a seccondary alcohol, it will show turbidity after 5-10 min. with reagent without heating.
CH3-CH(OH)CH3 +PCl5 --------->CH3CH(Cl)CH3 + POCl3+HCl
Chlorobenzene and Benzyl chloride

Chlorobenzene will not give white precipitate.
Benzene is an electron rich molecule. Nucleophiles on the other hand seek electron deficient sites. This is why; benzene do not undergoes nucleophiles substitution reactions very easily.
