If a chemical change occurs there is anew substance is formed.
Like when we add iron in copper sulphate then iron will displace the copper and at bottom copper fillings will be left leaving the green liquid. Next when we add Sodium in water it bursts out in this way also a chemical reaction can be identified.
A chemical reaction can be identified by:
1. Change of state of substance.
2.Change of taste of substance.
3.Change of color of substance.
4.Production of Heat and Light
5. Evolution of gas.
Germination of seed is a chemical change because seeds are dry before germinating but when they are fully germinated then they are wet and a plant like structure called sprout appears upon it Hence a new substance is formed that's why it is a chemical reaction. IHope this would help you slit dude.

Answer:

When we burn a piece of paper, ash is left behind, indicating that there has been an irreversible change. When a nail is hammered on a wall, a hole is made; the hole shows a physical change on the wall.
