Tyndall effect is done in colloidal dispersion

Explanation:

we are given 3 beakers having 3 different mixtures: solution , colloidal dispersion , suspension

1. Particles size in the solution is very small so no particles will be present to scatter light therefore does not show Tyndall effect .

2.particles size in colloidal dispersion are of intermediate size which means that the particles are suspended in mixture to scatter light.Hence show Tyndall effect.

3.Particles size in suspension is large the particles settle down and hence no particles are suspended in mixture to scatter light therefore does not show the Tyndall effect.
