Chemistry is one of the most vital parts of our lives and we use it with or without awareness.
we use metals very extensively. I dunno where we'll be without them
almost all of us love soft drinks , that consist of acidic compounds
We use basic compounds in detergent
We use it in pyrotechnics ( explosives ) though this may not be in daily life.
medicines also make use of chemical processes.
oil and gas processes like refining etc
paints are emulsions which again is chemistry along with dyes.
Food preservatives are also chemicals .
