hey mate your answer plz mark as brainlist
Character Analysis Peter Van Daan. One of the Dutch "protectors" has described Peter as a "simple, lovable boy, whom Anne would sometimes tease for his slow, methodical ways." It is clear from Anne's diary that she loved him, although it is possible that she loved her dream of love rather than the boy himself.

Hey mate ☺
Peter Van Daan was almost 16 when he arrived in the Annexe. He is shy and awkward and unable to express himself. Whenever he is snubbed, he hides himself in his room. He does nothing to improve his nature because he finds it easier not to make any effort. He gets easily influenced by others.
Peter is lazy and has a weaj character. He is hardly a person worth Anne's notice. Anne needs a friend and when she finds him looking at her with longing, she starts having a soft corner for him. She finds him desperately in need of affection.
Peter is simple minded. He is not at all flustered. He confides in her about his frustration at being unable to express himself clearly. He appears to have an inferiority complex. He thinks he is stupid and all others are very smart.
Hope it helps you☺✌✌
