Chewed rice when treated with Benedict's reagent and heated changes its colour.

Answer:

Chewed rice doesn't contain starch as our mouth has enzyme salivary amylase which digests the starch present in food . so iodine's colour remain unchanged that is brown. ... so its colour becomes blue black in presence of iodine.
