Child labor is a crime today and any child who is working below 14 yrs of age is said to
be in child labour.
Child labour goes on increasing due to the increase in
poverty across our country.Therefore children are forced to earn due to extreme poverty
in their homes.The reason for poverty can be Illiteracy of parents .
Child labour is a curse upon our society . The worst part of child labour
is that children are made to work under hazardous conditions.Due to this children are
affected by many health problems.
Some of the industrialists and businessmen involve children in some kind of
employment at very low cost labour. They do so only for their greediness of getting efficient
work at low cost of labour.Child labour withdraws small children from their sweet and
memorable childhood. It interferes with their regular schooling as it disturbs them mentally,
physically, socially and morally.
A child is not supposed to earn at childhood, a child is is supposed to learn.
If we
want to develop our country , we should first develop a bright future for the children

Child labour will increase even more after COVID scenario as Covid will increase
the poverty rate of the population and decrease the literacy rate of parents which will
increase child labour.
This exploitative practice is still continuing by various international organizations
