These households do not have a subsistence level of food and provisions to survive with. The parents also work very hard in most cases. However, individual children are often trafficked from these situations. They are sold as bonded labour and made to stay in more stringent conditions. The situation becomes traumatizing for the children. The parents are also never finding these missing children.
