ABSTRACT*
The Child Survival and Safe Motherhood Project will support enhancement and expansion of the Government of india's Maternal and Child Health (MCH) program for the 1991-95 period. It will cover the incremental costs associated with the program. It will be national in scope, but with an emphasis on specific districts where maternal and infant mortality rates are higher than the national average.
