a)Let the total no. of children in the group be x

so 2x/5 + x/5 + x/4 +30 =x

so (8x+4x+ 5x+600)/20 =x so x =200

b) now 2/5th of total play cricket so it means that 2/5 of 200 would be 80 therefore 80 of the children play cricket and 1/5th of the total play badminton so 40 of them play badminton
