Even the simplest of scenes had suspense around them, that tied the listener to the story. Iswaran had a vivid imagination and he used it to sew intricate and convincing stories. He narrated a new story to Mahendra each day, packed with drama, adventure, suspense and thrill. All of these are qualities of a good storyteller and children can learn this art from him
