Answer:
Children were better raised in the past
There is no denying the fact that children were better raised in the past. It may seem ironic, but it is true.
One may wonder how can this be with better life conditions, technology, facilities, etc. The truth is these better life conditions have become the bane of healthy growth of modern children. They have become over-dependent upon facilities of modern life, which has led to deterioration of their health.
Young boys and girls these days have become addicted to these facilities and are misusing them to their disadvantages. Mobile phones, TV, internet, etc. have done the greatest damage. This is having a very negative impact on the impressionable minds of our young children and leading them astray. Sitting in front of the screen for long hours also affects their health adversely in many ways.
However, in the past children did not have so many facilities; in the evening they would gather in play grounds and play together. Lack of facilities often pushed them to do their best. This pressure and stress helped them indirectly to bring out their best talent in them and they would develop great skills. For example, Dr. Kalam’s hardships helped him become a great scientist and human being.
So, in conclusion it can be said children were better raised in the past.
