Children who are differently –abled should be part of the general schools. You are a strong believer
of this theory. Write a letter to the Editor of a national daily in 100-120 words, sharing your views
and requesting him to publish an article on the same. You are Arun/ Arti , 112 Bank street Agra.

Subject: Differently abled children should study in the same schools

Sir:

I am writing this letter to express my views on the concept of inclusive education. I strongly believe that differently-abled children must study in mainstream schools where normal children study.

Allowing differently abled children to study in the mainstream schools has many advantages. The most significant is the feeling of being accepted and equality they feel. Any discrimination makes them feel inferior. Studying with the normal children makes them feel equal. This has a positive impact on their learning.

The normal children studying with them develop sensitivity to the needs of special children and come forward to assist them in many ways.

I appeal you to write an article on the advantages of Inclusive Education to promote the concept among people.

Thanking you.

Yours truly,

Arun

Respected sir,

I am a social activist and I found your national daily has the ability to reach millions of people in the country.

My thought is that treating differently-abled people should not be treated differently by others.

They should be accepted in all the schools and colleges within the country.

Opening a special school for them is nothing different than untouchable activity.

An article under your newspaper will bring awareness to many.
