Chilli is grown in both Kharif and Rabi seasons, there is no specific season for growing chillies, especially in India.

Considering the fact that red chillies are grown in the Kharif season, it can be said that Chillies are grown in Kharif season.

Chillies are used in Indian cuisine and in Indian households on a daily basis. There is no single savoury dish, in which chilly is not incorporated. There are a various variety of chillies grown in India and one of the spiciest chilly is found in the Northeastern states of India.
