Chimneys or exhaust fans in kitchen are fixed exactly above gas stove. Why?​

Exhaust fan can only through the smoke out from kitchen, and not other impurities like fume, tiny oil/food particles, odor, heat that a chimney can. A chimney is very effective. Chimneys are best option to maintain kitchen environment

Because during burning CO2 releases and CO2 is the lighter gas so it rises up so chimney or exhaust fans in kitchen are fixed exactly above gas stove.
