China has greater population than India,but has less population density as a whole while compared to India. Why?

Density refers to population per square km and since area in china is more therefore the density is less china whereas in india the area is less and population is more therefore density is hoigh

China is the most populated country in the world.And India is the second most populated country in the world.But still China's population density is lower than the India.

Because,any country's population density is measured by dividing the Number of people with the land area.

India is way more smaller country than the China,in terms of land area.That's why the Chinese population density is less than the Indian population density.
