China is communists country where election are held after five years but still it cannot be called democratic country. Explain the reasons.

China cannot be called a democratic country, for even though they run so-called "elections", they use a one-party system, in which there is only one choice to choose from. For a democracy to be called a democracy, there must be more than one choice, and the people have the choice to choose who they want.
