One child policy is another example of China's perfect planning, this policy was started to control the population and it was also known as population planning policy. It started in 1979 and since then people are being penalized for having a second child, there is an exception for few people, and those are the people whose first child is not a boy and girls they can have another baby in order to have a boy. China claims it has prevented 400 million births till now and that has improved the conditions of the country, means there was enough food for the people and enough clean water for everyone.
But this policy has its own drawback as well because the people who cannot have a son as a first child they want to have a son because they want someone to look after them in old age, in order to earn money they want a son. People who have girls as a first child because of this policy are left alone and no one is there to look after them.
