Chinappa was convicted for torturing his wife for dowry. Satbir was
held guilty of practicing untouchability. The court did not allow cither
of them to contest elections. Does this decisions against the
principles of democratie elections?​

no this is not against the democratic elections for the case 2 but yes it was against the principle of Democratic election for the case one as it was about the freedom of equality because our India has said that dowry will be no more
